Back in , Italian based Falaise released their debut album. While it was re-released and reviewed just last year, the band has already now released the follow up, entitled My Endless Immensity. Taking all of the elements on the prior release, the two-piece has clearly spent the last couple of years working toward a more complete sound. Reply

Sep 11,  · With some editing and a better production, I can see Falaise dropping an album that will turn mopey heads in their direction. Give them a couple of albums, and perhaps the potential will be realized. As it stands, My Endless Immensity suffers from being a bit too ambitious, and definitely too loud. These can be fixed in due time and with practice. Reply

lowercase, before the immensity The record is as engaging and dynamic as this form of music can possibly get-if ever you were bored by Deafheaven or Ghost Bath or at least put off by their brighter aesthetics, you should still give Falaise a chance. My Endless Immensity is moving, crushing, soothing, and exciting all at once. Reply

conjunngrinradthunderfire.infoinfo The sole definition of Depressive Black Metal doesn't fit anymore to Falaise. With their second effort the italian duo is ready to further cross the boundries of this genre to involve the expanding vision of post-rock and indie tunes. Reply

Based on their sophomore foray My Endless Immensity, our opinion of Italian black metal outfit Falaise remains unchanged. They are, after all, perhaps the second-best shoegaze-infused black metal outfit going at the time, right behind An Autumn for Crippled Children. Reply
